It’s back! Now in its third year, the Jeremy Sangster Memorial Soccer Tournament will once again be taking place in Bristol, New York and include a few of Jeremy’s favorite pastimes: Family, friends, soccer, music, food… and more friends. This year’s tournament will include a bocce ball tournament on the side! Woooo bocce ball!

About the event

When: Saturday, June 25th, 2011 (rain or shine!)
Where: Levi Corser Memorial Park, Bristol, New York (map)
What: Soccer tournament, live bands, raffle, and barbecue!

We’re very excited to announce the 2011 Jeremy Sangster Memorial Soccer Tournament, taking place in Bristol, New York, on Saturday, June 25th, 2011.
Soccer teams may arrive at 9am, with games officially beginning at 10am. Our projected soccer tournament end time is 6pm, dependent on weather and game play. Food will be available from 11am through 4pm.
This event has been voluntarily coordinated by a handful of Jeremy’s friends, with all proceeds contributing to the continuation of a Bloomfield High School scholarship in Jeremy’s honor. The event is open for all to attend… please feel free to swing by and join in the fun!

We’re currently accepting soccer team registrations for the tournament online. After taking a look at the rules below, click the button below to start the registration process.

Tournament rules

At a glance:

  • Early registration – before May 1st: $300 per team.
  • Late registration – between May 1st and June 1st: $350 per team.
  • Registration fee includes an event tshirt (to be used as your team’s tournament jersey)!
  • Ages 18 & up.
  • 5 v. 5, plus goalies. Minimum 3 field players at all times.
  • 30 minute games, guaranteed minimum 3 games per team.
  • Maximum of 12 players on a roster, 10 recommended.
  • Coed: minimum 2 girls/guys per roster, minimum 1 girl/guy on the field at all times.
  • Group style play followed by quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a final.

Tournament sponsor logos (or company names) appear on a shared banner. Higher level sponsors will have their logos printed on the tourney shirts. All donations are tax-deductable. For more information regarding sponsorship levels, take a look at our sponsorship brochure or email us.

In order to have your logo included on tshirts, it must be received no later than Thursday, June 9th at 5pm. In order to have your logo appear on any event materials (banners, etc., depending on sponsorship level), it must be received no later than Thursday, June 16th at 5pm. All sponsorship payments must be received prior to those dates.
